Construction started in April of 2013 with Swain Construction as the Prime Contractor for the City of Omaha – Public Works.
Major work included the removal and installation of a new traffic signal intersection at 50th and Underwood Ave, temporary street lighting fixtures on wood poles and overhead wiring, permanent street lighting conduit and wiring, and electrical circuits through the Dundee Business District for landscape and holiday lighting.
Due to a fully functioning and thriving business district, work had to be completed in phases while leaving access at all times to vehicles and pedestrians.
